This policy covers this website and emails you send us. Our products, BusinessOS and Orbit-1 Echo, have their own privacy policies on their own sites.

Who we are

Nexus Data & AI Limited is the data controller. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17066175. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@nexus-data-ai.com.

What this website collects

Very little. The site has no forms, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so visiting does not send your details to third parties.

Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical information when your browser requests a page: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent. This is used only to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults, and is kept in short-lived server logs.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it to reply, to discuss any work you ask about, and to keep a record of that conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries or, where you are asking about working with us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We keep enquiry emails for as long as the conversation is active and then for up to two years, unless they become part of a client relationship, in which case we keep them for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of service providers to run our business, such as our email and hosting providers, who process data on our behalf under contract. Some of them may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to someone else. Email hello@nexus-data-ai.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
